Event Description
We are developing a new Telephone Support Service for carers to complement our existing Befriending Service. The aim of the service is for carers to feel less isolated and better supported in their caring role.
Volunteers who provide the service will need to give a minimum of 1-2 hours per week or fortnight to make the calls which they can do from home or from one of the Carers Centres. We will provide regular training and support and reimburse the cost of the calls and other expenses.
